I grew up in Brookhaven, Mississippi (map) where life was sometimes idyllic and sometimes tragically boring. I knew at an early age that there was more out there, and when it became time to pick a college, I pulled out a map and figured out where I wanted to go. The East Coast felt about right, so I ended up in Delaware.

I currently live in Greenville, Delaware (map) while working at the University of Delaware (map). I graduated there in Spring 2006 with a double major in English and anthropology and minors in political science and history. I've always been a bit of a Renaissance man with way too many interests. (Hell, I started out as a Russian major!)

After finishing undergraduate work at Delaware, I received a master of arts in English and publishing from Rosemont College (map) in suburban Philadelphia. There I took a well-rounded program of creative and technical writing, as well as more graphic arts based classes. So right now I could write, edit, design, layout, and print a book, including any needed photography!

With work, classes, and life, I've been pretty busy for the last ten years. I've enjoyed every hectic minute of it. And with the little free time I have now that classes are done, I've been focusing on photography and learning more about my camera and Photoshop. I still keep myself busy by brushing up on everything I've learned so far. Life is short—make it full!

Soon I'll be moving on to bigger things. Sometime in 2010, I'll begin applying for jobs in New York that better match my interests and skills. I hope to be settled there by fall or early winter. So the chaos will continue shortly—stay tuned.
